The first show completed for 2021 was for El Campo High School in El Campo, Texas. El Campo is about 60 miles southwest of Houston and about 30 miles northeast of Victoria. They are a medium size school. Their director is Rolando Cantu and this is the 2nd year I have done their show.
The show is entitled A Night in the Big Easy and is arranged by Luke McMillan. The movements are Just a Closer Walk With Thee, St. Louis #1, and When the Saints Go Marching In.
The show was written for 70 members including 56 winds. There are 31 sets to this show and would be considered a grade 2 1/2 on a scale of 1 to 5.
This show was completed on June 6.
