What one does over Spring Break.
Actually, I started this two weeks ago but was delayed by the ice storm and resulting power outage. And then last week, I just wasn’t getting into it. But it is done now.
This is the music from Fantasmic, the closing show for the Disneyland Park in California and the Disney Studios Park in Florida. The three movements are Mickey the Sorcerer, Princess Medley, and Finale featuring Night on Bald Mountain. The arrangements are from Hal Leonard and it was arranged by Michael Brown. I always liked the music to this show and had done some adaptations of drill a few times and even wrote a very easy show to it a few years back. This was the first attempt to do one with full movement.
The drill has 47 sets and is written for 72 winds, 10 battery percussion, and 18 colorguard.
