The seventh show completed for 2022 was for Comeaux High School from Lafayette, Louisiana. Lafayette is in the south central part of the state about 60 miles west of Baton Rouge. It is the heart of Cajun Country. It is a medium to larger school with 1,175 students. Their director is Scott Geiger and this is the first time I have done their show. .
Their show is entitled Spanish Sojourns and it uses various sources. The movements are El Gato, El Gato Triste, and Estancia. It was written for 59 students with 40 winds. It has 33 sets. This is their closer.
This show was completed on June 19.
