The sixth show completed for 2022 was for Falfurrias High School from Falfurrias, Texas. Falfurrias is near the Rio Grande Valley in south Texas, about 60 miles southwest of Corpus Christi and about 90 miles north of Edinburg. It is a small to medium size school with about 422 students. Their director is Rolando Molina. This is the 1st time I have done their show.
Their show is entitled Rhapsody in Blues and is arranged by Jair Klarfeld. The three movements are St. Louis Blues, Rising Sun Blues, and Rhapsody in Blue. It was written for 84 students including 63 winds. It has 28 sets. This is the opener.
This show was completed on June 14.
