The twenty-eighth show completed for 2022 was for Premont High School from Premont, Texas. Premont is about 40 miles southwest of Corpus Christi. They are a smaller school with 313 students. Their director is Philip May. This is the first time I have done their show.
Their show is titled A New World and it is by Mandy Maldonado. The show is in three movements and uses the music of Dvorak’s 9th Symphony and a original composition called A New World. This was the smallest band that I wrote for with 21 members including 17 winds. It has 21 sets. This is the opener.
This show was completed on August 28.
