The eleventh show completed for 2022 was for South Mecklenburg High School from Charlotte, North Carolina. Charlotte is the largest city in North Carolina and is on the North Carolina / South Carolina border. This was the first of 8 Marching Show Concepts drills and this is the first time I have done this school. This was the 2nd largest school I wrote for with a student population of 3,258.
The show is entitled Smooth Criminal. The four movements are Hey! Pachuco, Pegasus, After Sunset, and Smooth Criminal. The show was written for 67 members including 47 winds. The drill had a total of 40 sets. This is their opener.
This show was completed on June 28.
