The 12th displayed show for 2024 is for Big Spring High School from Big Spring, Texas. Big Spring is in deep west Texas about 50 miles east of Midland and Odessa. Their director is Gabriel Martinez. This is the 4th time I have done their show. They are a 4A UIL classified school in Region 6.
Their show is entitled Black Swan and it is arranged by John Fannin. It is in three movements. It features Chandelier by Sia and excerpts of Swan Lake by Tchaikovsky.
The drill was written for 119 band members including 94 winds. It has 47 sets. This show was completed on July 17.
