The 6th displayed drill for 2024 is for Hastings High School from Alief, Texas. Alief is a direct suburb of Houston about 15 miles from downtown. Their director is Jeff Rodriguez. This is the 2nd time I have done their show. They are a 6A UIL classified school in Region 23.
Their show is entitled Breakout and is by Randall Standridge. It is in four movements depicting a jail break.
The drill was written for 119 band members including 84 winds. It has 38 sets. This show was completed on August 23.
