The 9th show that was completed for 2018 was for Stafford High School in Stafford, Texas. Stafford is about 15 miles west of Houston. The school has about 983 students and is in UIL Region 13 classified as a AAAA size school. The band charted for 167 members including 140 winds. They are the largest band that I write for. Their director is Rod Rodriguez and this is the 10th year I have done drill for them.
Their music is entitled Dia de los Muertos or the Day of the Dead and is by John Fannin. It is written in three movements.
The show would be a Grade 4.5 in difficulty making it a pretty difficult show. The drill has 52 sets. The show was completed on June 25.
