Midwest Clinic, Day 3 – Epilogue
I left Chicago at noon today and was home at 4:30pm. There was very little going on as I was leaving the hotel today; most had already left. This was a great trip that I got a lot out of. I plan to do this again in the future though at the moment, I can not say when. Overall, this was good stuff. If you should ever take this trip, make sure to dress warm (because it was cold and yet not as bad as it could have been), be prepared not to have a car (because you just don’t drive in Chicago), take in all the sites you can, enjoy what is a very wonderful clinic and convention, and make sure you can pack for extra stuff (mostly free from the exhibit hall itself). I will remember most being moved by the US Army Herald Trumpets and enjoying what was a typical band concert from the 1920’s given by the New Sousa Band.
The picture was at the airline terminal at O’Hare International Airport getting from one side to the other. It’s now time to enjoy Christmas.
