TBA Convention – Day 3, Epilogue
I ran into the exhibit hall one more time. I originally thought not but I went anyway and it was a good thing. I saw Mike Allen from Pasadena, the Partida’s who are now in Alvin, and the Edward’s who are now at Canadian. I had a long conversation with David Bozeman at MSC and saw Randy Gilmore, the former owner, working the exhibitors booth. It was great to see them all.
And then, there is Pyware. For those who have tried it, Pyware can be a major pain in the ass to learn and it is very unforgiving but once you kind of get the hang of it, it is simply the best thing out there. What is even better is that this is one of the most welcoming companies that I have ever dealt with. Anytime I have a question, they have an answer and they put it in ways that you can understand and they do not judge the work. Dustin Merrill, Amanda McFarland, and all the others are great. And finally meeting Py Kolb was a treat.
I got home at 5:30 after a lot of construction on I10 and took a nap. Tonight, I will work on Wolfson High School to get them ready for their band camps. Tomorrow, Pasquotank County, Bellville, and possibly Needville and a MSC project will take over.
A quiet convention but a good one. The picture is of the t shirt that was sent to me from my attendance at the drill retreat in June.
