The third show completed for 2019 was for Tolar High School from Tolar, Texas. Tolar is about 65 miles southwest of Fort Worth. The school has 261 students and is classified as a 3A school in UIL Region 30. Their director is Aaron Noland. This is the 2nd year I have done their show.
The show is entitled The World We’re In and is by Luke McMillan. Movements of this show are Spanish Sketches, Sounds From the East, Songs of the Emerald Isle, and Dances of the Serengeti.
The drill has 36 sets and would be classified as a Grade 3 or of medium difficulty. There were 39 members to this band including 34 winds. This show was completed on May 25.
