The tenth show that was completed was for Columbia High School from West Columbia, Texas. West Columbia is about 60 miles southwest of Houston. This is my home high school and where the kids from West Brazos Junior High (the kids from my day job) feed into. The school has 910 students and is classified as 4A in UIL Region 13. Their director is Randy Marble. This is the 15th year I have done their show which is the record.
The show is entitled Time After Time and it is by Luke McMillan. The three movements are entitled Clocks, Time After Time, and Chiming of the Hour. Luke has been the music writer for us since 2014.
The show has 38 sets and would be considered a Grade 3 or of moderate difficulty. There were 71 members to this band including 56 winds. This show was completed on June 30. This was the second of three shows that were completed at the Drill Retreat at Cape Cod.
