The sixteenth show completed for 2019 was for Perquimans County High School from Hertford, North Carolina. Hertford is on the Atlantic coast about 100 miles east of Raleigh. The school has 491 students. Their director was Malik Barrows (more on this in just a moment) and this was the 2nd year I have done their show.
Their show was entitled Encounters and it was by Malik Barrows. The two movements that were completed were entitled Morning and Encounters.
This was the show that was not completed because of a director change during the summer. The show was paid for and thus, will count as an official show. The drill up to this point had 29 sets and would have been considered a Grade 3 or of moderate difficulty. There were 32 members to this band including 19 winds. This show was completed on July 21.
