The nineteenth show that was completed for 2019 was for Pasquotank County High School from Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Elizabeth City is on the Atlantic Coast about 150 miles east of Raleigh. The school has 799 students. Their director was John Russell and is now Nick Stanley. This is the 4th year I have done their show.
Their show is entitled The Darker Side of Alice and it is by Luke McMillan. It is in three movements entitled Through the Rabbit Hole, Tea With the Mad Hatter, and In the Queen’s Garden.
The show has 44 sets and would be considered a Grade 3.5 or of moderate difficulty. There were 47 members to this band including 30 winds. This show was completed on July 30.
