Though I have two more shows to finish, I am going to put out 13 shows over the next couple of weeks showing examples of the bands that I wrote for. They are Pyware examples and are of all sizes and ability levels. As well, I will be putting different examples on my website with some Grade 1 or easier drills in the next couple of weeks.
So, the first example is for Piggott High School from Piggott, Arkansas. Piggott is a small town near the Missouri border in northeast Arkansas about 200 miles northeast of Little Rock. Their director is Kyle Allman. This is the first time I have done their show.
Their show is entitled You Could, You Can, You Do. The music is arranged by Ryan Talbert. Movements are The Rite of Spring by Stravinsky, What Was I Made For performed by Billie Eilish, and Nine in the Afternoon from PANIC at the Disco.
The drill was written for 22 band members including 16 winds. There are 34 sets to this show. This show was completed on August 23.
