The 11th displayed drill for 2024 is for Putnam City High School from Warr Acres, Oklahoma. Warr Acres is a suburb of Oklahoma City and is just northwest of Oklahoma City proper. Their directors are Landry Tucker and Chase Gulliver. This is the first time I have done their show.
Their show is entitled The Reckoning and is arranged by Matt Filosa, Shane Gwaltney, and Jeremy Thompson. It is in four movements. Most of the music is original with hints of Firebird by Stravinsky.
The drill was written for 40 band members including 31 winds. It has 44 sets. This show was completed on August 15.
