Some more results from UIL and beyond. First, my first band from Arizona, Morenci High School performed at their first contest last Saturday, the Eastern Arizona College Band Day and performed to an excellent rating. Good stuff for their first time out.
Two more shows happened today and both were 1st divisions. From Arkansas:

And from Texas:
Big Spring High School, Big Spring, TX
Director – Gabriel Martinez UIL Region 6
Program – Black Swan by John Fannin
Piggott High School has qualified for the Arkansas State Marching Contest. Big Spring and the other 12 1st division bands from Saturday have qualified for UIL Area with Runge High School already qualified for UIL State.
Three bands will be going tomorrow and all will be in the Houston area which if all goes well, I will be attending. Three more will be going on Wednesday.
