This was a show that I originally did at the TMEA Convention in San Antonio in February, 2024. This is Chess, The Art of Revolution and it is arranged by Luke McMillan. The three movements are the Ballet Suite No. 4 by Dmitri Shostakovich, Everybody Wants to Rule the World sung by Tears for Fears, and Knights of Cydonia by the English rock band Muse. I updated the chess board to make it a little easier on the eyes and cleaned the drill a little bit.
The drill has 50 sets and it was written for 64 winds, 8 battery percussion and 16 colorguard. There are numerous chess piece props being moved which would probably be done by alternate band members.
I will be back at TMEA with Pyware from February 12-15 in San Antonio with a new drill to work on and display.
