The twentith show that was completed for 2019 was for Bellville High School from Bellville, Texas. Bellville is about 70 miles northwest of Houston and about 130 miles southeast of Austin. The school has 698 students and would be considered Class 4A in UIL Region 27. Their director is Kenny Peters. This was the first year I have done their show.
The show is entitled Flight and is from Hal Leonard Publications arranged by Richard Saucedo, Jay Bocook, and Michael Sweeney. It is in three movements entitled Fanfare for the Third Planet, Into the Light, and Ascend.
The show has 48 sets and would be considered a Grade 4 or above average difficulty. There were 109 members to this band including 89 winds. This show was completed on August 4.
