The third show completed for 2018 was for Brazos High School from Wallis, Texas. Wallis is 40 miles west of Houston. The school has about 234 students and they are in UIL Region 13 and are a AAA size school. The band was written for 39 members with 29 winds. Their director is Billy Mere and this is the 7th year I have done their show.
Their show is entitled The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and it was written by David Herring. The four movements for the show are entitled Welcome, Ichabod Crane and Brohms Bones, Katrina Van Tessell, and Midnight Ride. This was the third time I have done this show including in 2012 for Columbia.
The drill has 35 sets and would be a Grade 2.5 to 3 or of moderate difficulty. This show was completed on June 1.
