This is the 3rd just for fun video for 2024 and also for those looking on at TMEA, the show that I was working on in the exhibit hall. The show is entitled Chess – The Art of Revolution and it was arranged by Luke McMillan. The three movements are the Ballet Suite No. 4 by Dmitri Shostakovich, Everybody Wants to Rule the World by Tears for Fears, and Knights of Cydonia by the alternative group Muse.
The drill features chess pieces and a big chess board (I would imagine a tarp on the field). It was written for 64 winds, 8 battery percussion, and 16 colorguard. It has 50 sets. Let me know what you think.
