The twenty-fifth show that was completed for 2019 was for Hawley High School from Hawley, Texas. Hawley is in West Central Texas about 25 miles north of Abilene. The school has 209 students and is classified as 2A in UIL Region 6. Their director is Freddy Verastegui and this is the 5th time I have done their show.
Their show is entitled The Rolling Stones from Alfred Music and it is arranged by Mike Story. It is in three movements and features Satisfaction, You Can’t Always Get What You Want, Get Off of My Cloud, and Paint it Black.
The show has 29 sets and would be considered a Grade 2 or of easier difficulty. There were 27 members to this band including 19 winds. This show was completed on September 19.
