The third show completed for 2022 was for Iola High School from Iola, Texas. Iola is about 30 miles northeast of the Bryan College Station area which is about 60 miles north of Houston. It is a smaller school with 214 students. Their director is Eliu Santos and this is the 2nd year I have done their show.
Their show is entitled Blast From the Past and it includes several rock classics from the distant and not too distant past. Movements are Yesterday, Hooked on a Feeling, and Bad to the Bone. It was written for 43 members including 33 winds and had a total of 25 sets. This is their closer.
This show was completed on June 9.
