The second show that was completed for 2018 was for Louise High School from Louise, Texas. Louise is about 30 miles east of Victoria and about 60 miles southwest of Houston. The school has 140 students and is in UIL Region 13 classified as an AA size school. The band was written for 44 members including 31 winds. Their director is Kasey Chitmon and this is the first year I have written for them.
Their show is entitled To Catch a Thief and is by Gary Gilroy. Movements include The Heist, Jewels by Moonlight, Entrapment, and The Slip.
The show has 34 sets and would be considered a Grade 3 show or of medium difficulty. This show was completed on May 30.
