It was a big weekend as far as marching contests over this weekend. Some results, first from outside the state of Texas:
Morenci HS (AZ) – 5th in class, Arizona Southern Regional
Desert Sunrise HS (AZ) – 6th in class, Arizona Southern Regional
Gila Ridge HS (AZ) – 4th in Class, Arizona Southern Regional
Elmwood Park HS (NJ) – 1st in Class, US Bands Hillsboro
Tuscarora HS (MD) – 1st Place, MMBA Urbana Regionals
And from Texas – UIL Area Contests
Willowridge HS – 24th Place, UIL Area D 4A
Brazosport HS – 15th Place, UIL Area D 4A
Stafford HS – 6th Place, UIL Area D 4A (Alternate to State)
Brackett HS – 3rd Place, UIL Area E 2A STATE QUALIFIER
Brackett will make their 2nd trip to the State Contest and will perform at the Alamodome in San Antonio on November 4.
