The 11th show completed for 2018 is Tatum High School in Tatum, Texas. Tatum is 25 miles southwest of Marshall in East Texas. The school has about 525 students and is in UIL Region 21 classified as a AAAA size school. Their director is Bailey Petersma and this is the 2nd year I have done their show.
Their show is entitled Descent Into Darkness and it is by David Herring. The four movements of this show are entitled Entering Ghastly Port, The Memorial Gardens, The Witches Sabbath, and Night on Bald Mountain.
The band was charted for 102 members with 85 winds. They are the fourth largest band that I wrote for. The show would be classified as a 3.5 level or of moderate difficulty. There are 40 sets to this show. This show was completed on July 2.
