This is The Crown Jewels (I always wanted to do a British show). This show is based around British band and orchestra music (as it turns out English music) and they are all arranged by Jay Bocook. These are older arrangements; the opener and closer were from Jenson Music from the 1980’s, the middle tune was from Hal Leonard around 2005. They may be out of print but I bet you could find them somewhere. Please bear with the sound recordings; they are also old with the opener and closer coming off a tape which came off a record.
The opener is Moorside March which is the final movement from A Moorside Suite by Gustav Holst. Those who went to Plano East will know that they did this music in 1986, the year before I went there and they may have done it again after I graduated. It is a personal favorite of mine. The 2nd tune is Nimrod from Enigma Variations by Edward Elgar. The closer is Crown Imperial by William Walton.
