Eight bands will go to area. Brackett will go on Saturday in Odom for Area E 2A. Stafford, Brazosport, and Willowridge will go Saturday in Pflugerville for Area D 4A. Next Saturday, Boling and Hitchcock go to Waco Robinson for Area D 3A, Luiling will go to Beeville for Area E 3A and Orangefield will go to Whitehouse for Area C 3A.
And one more. David Johnson, who is the band director at Dunbar High School in Fort Worth came up to me at TMEA last year to do his show. Upon doing research on the band, I saw the that the previous ratings were not stellar. His group this year made a 221 this year surpassing anything I was expecting and just missing area. Good stuff is happening there!
