The 7th displayed drill for 2024 is for Columbia High School from West Columbia, Texas. West Columbia is is 55 miles southwest of Houston near the Gulf Coast. Their director is Jared Hackett. This is the 20th time I have done their show. They are a 4A classified school in Region 13.
Their show is entitled Mad New World and is arranged by Jeff Tipps. The music is from Mad World, made popular by Tears for Fears, and Symphony No. 9 for the New World by Dvorak.
The drill was written for 123 band members including 109 winds. It has 33 sets. This show was completed on June 27.
