Elmwood Park (NJ) – 3rd in Class, US Bands Wayne Valley
Gila Ridge (AZ) – 2nd in Class, AZMBA Desert Vista Contest
Desert Sunrise (AZ) – 4th in Class, AZMBA Desert Vista Contest
Orangefield (TX) – 2nd Place / Runner Up in Class / 1st Division – Battle at the Bridges
Tea Area (SD) – 1st Place / Sweepstakes Award, March to the Meridian
Basic Academy (NV) – 2nd in Class, Sounds Across the Valley
Blackfoot (ID) – 3rd Place, Magic Valley Classic
Hitchcock (TX) – Runner Up in Class / 1st Division, Edna Invitational
Luling (TX) – 4th in Class, Edna Invitational

UIL Region Contests have started throughout the state. The first two bands that I wrote for will be going tomorrow. 20 will be going on Saturday from Gruver in the north part of the Texas Panhandle all the way to Falfurrias in deep south Texas. Four more will go next Tuesday in the Houston area. I will be at the Region 13 UIL contest in El Campo for my usual Super Saturday ritual and will be going to Conroe and Katy next Tuesday.
