he 19th show completed for 2026 is for Cuero High School from Cuero, Texas. Cuero is in south Texas about 70 miles southeast of San Antonio. Their director is Kendall Prinz. This is the 3rd time I have done their show and the first time in a few years.
So, this is where we are at. Junction City is complete but needs a few adjustments in numbers. Greenville and Woodgrove are three movements done out of four. Goliad, Morenci and Citrus have two movements out of three. Openers are done for Conant, Eisenhower, Wolfson, Luling, Norfolk, University Charter and Sealy. There is a 3rd wave which I will be starting this weekend between watching DCI San Antonio on FloMarching on Saturday and the World Cup Final on Sunday. As well as completing the ones above, I will be starting something like 15 drills over the next four days as many of the summer band camps will be starting this coming week. I don’t think fun is the word I am thinking of. But, it is a living. As of this moment, I don’t even know how many I have but I do know that I think I have reached the limit.
I have returned from San Antonio for the TBA convention staying overnight (and completing the Cuero drill there while typing the instructions at the house). As always, I had a good time seeing good friends, some clients, and dare I say, former students (which is frightening to me.) I forgot to take pictures this year.
I will see everybody in October when this should all be done!!
