The 34th show completed for 2026 is for Lovelady High School from Lovelady, Texas. Lovelady is on the western end of East Texas and is about 120 miles north of Houston. Their director is Chris Garcia. This is the first time I have done their show.
Well…some good news is that all the rewrites are done for the moment. I have had to redo 12 shows due to changed numbers. Nothing is on the verge of completion but there is a lot of shows on the board. Norfolk and Orangefield have three movements done out of four. Two movements are done for Palacios, Bellaire, San Luis, Desert Sunrise, Tidehaven, Hitchcock, South Walton, University Charter, and Floydada. Openers are done for Lamar, Ballinger, South East, Hamlin, Pauls Valley, and Crosbyton. Sacred Heart will be started tomorrow and six more schools will be started in the next couple of weeks to complete the 2026 drill writing season.
I will be taking Sunday until Tuesday off to move the kid back to Austin but I will be back with full force Wednesday and I will be taking the computer with me for any emergencies that come about.
