The 54th show completed for 2026 is for Palacios High School from Palacios, Texas. Palacios is right on the Gulf Coast and is about 100 miles southwest of Houston. Their director is Jules Walden. This is the 8th time I have done their show.
That leaves three more. South East is finished and awiating final apporval. I am hoping to have Lamar and Desert Sunrise finished by the end of this week.
In other news, some of the bands that I wrote for went to their first contest this weekend. This was a very good start.
Carbon High School (Utah) – 1st in Class 3A, Nebo Tournament of Bands
Woodgrove High School (Virginia) – 1st in Group 3, Freedom Showcase
A few other bands went this past weekend as well and as I get the results, I will post them. Many bands will be going next weekend including a number of the Texas bands that I wrote for.
